San Juan

It´s party time in the north of Lanzarote, especially in Haría the capital where the parties start this week and go on for two weeks.

Veteran football matches, old folks bowling, free Canarian-style food for all, including fine local wines of course, music of all persuasions, dancing, rocking or just chatting to our neighbours (who love the English interaction), in Spanish of course. Non-spanish speaking tourists welcome, the Canarians are the friendliest of peoples, everyone welcome.

Children also showcase their skills from playing the timple the guitar the drums and generally rocking in their own special way.

From June 10th through for two weeks, friendly mayhem and, of course the sun is usually shining, not to be ignored, Have fun!
